When you visit Haven, we think you're in for a treat. Experience our freshly prepared breakfast and lunch items, lovingly made with the finest ingredients. The scent of freshly baked cinnamon rolls will greet you early in the morning, along with muffins, our decadent sticky buns, and hearty omelette cups. The smell of soup simmering mingled with the aromas of pie and cookies cooling arrives mid-morning in preparation for lunch. And don't forget our homemade truffles for a decadent treat.
Freshly brewed coffee from freshly ground and freshly roasted beans punctuates the air, smoothed with the velvety creaminess of cappuccinos, lattes, and flavored hot chocolates. If you prefer a chilled beverage, fountain soda and fresh brewed iced tea are available as well as our signature cold-brewed iced coffee, fresh smoothies and chilly frappes.
Weekly menu specials offer unique flavors and pairings using fresh seasonal produce when available, so the variety of quiche, homemade soup, muffins, pies, and cookies available change weekly to reflect that. Our signature sandwiches and crisp salads are always available, as is our "build your own" sandwich option, but there's always something different to explore if you dare. Our Blue Plate Special is a hot hearty entree that also changes weekly. We haven't forgotten the little folks either. There's a Kid's Plate designed just for them with healthy food options you can feel good about feeding them.
Our warm and inviting atmosphere will instantly relax you when you enter our freshly renovated storefront in Marshalltown's Historic District. This elegant Victorian was built in 1883, and we've tried to retain the flavor of its pedigreed past with rich woodwork, antiques and collectibles, a fireplace, chandeliers, and the original tin ceiling. Today's needs were not ignored, however, and you'll also find leather furniture, surround sound electronics, and wireless internet. Seating is limited, so if you prefer to call in your order "to-go", it can be ready for you when you arrive.
For those with very limited time, we'll deliver any item on our menu anywhere in Marshalltown between 11:00 and 12:30 weekdays. Orders must be placed by 10:00a.m. to be delivered that same day. A minimum order of 25.00 is needed, and a 5.00 delivery fee will be charged. Delivery is FREE on orders over 50.00, so grab 5 other co-workers and pool your order!
Haven is the perfect destination for a casual morning coffee or a business lunch. Catch up with old friends and make new ones, or take out that new client. Enjoy a seat inside by the fireplace, or outside in our courtyard. We can cater your private function or have dinner ready for you to take home after work.
